Dixon Golf Set To Select Professional Team
TEMPE, ARIZ., August 9, 2013 – Dixon Golf, manufacturers of the first high performance eco-friendly golf ball, today announce that they are partnering with both the Space Coast Pro Tour (SCPT) and the All-American Gateway Tour (AAGT) to build their professional team.
The partnership presents Dixon Golf as the official golf ball of the Space Coast Pro Tour and the All-American Gateway Tour. In addition, Dixon Golf will be selecting golfers from The BIG Tournament to endorse on the 2013-2014 SCPT and 2013-2014 AAGT.
“We are excited to staff our professional team through these premiere tours,” says William Carey, CEO of Dixon Golf. “The SCPT and AAGT encompass the best of both east and west coast competitive play. With The BIG Tournament being a cumulative national competition, we are confident in finding top-tier golfers to welcome to our team.”
Golfers competing in The BIG Tournament will be eligible for a one-time or One-Year Dixon Golf Endorsement, which includes access to each respective tour.
“The BIG Tournament, presented by Dixon Golf, is encouraging competitive golfers and aspiring pros to play for two things,” says Paul Wang, National Tournament Chair of The BIG Tournament. “First, they play for a charity close to their heart. Second, they play for the opportunity to continue their career efforts with a sponsorship.”
Each individual golfer from the winning two-man BIG Regional team will be awarded The Live Like a Pro Weekend, where they will choose a SCPT or AAGT event to compete in with a one-time Dixon Golf endorsement.
The One-Year Dixon Golf Endorsement will be awarded to each golfer from the first-place BIG National Championship team. This includes shirts, hats, Dixon golf balls per tournament and exemption to each event on the SCPT or AAGT.
This marque partnership marks an innovative approach to provide developmental opportunities to career oriented golfers, while enriching the community in which they live through environmental consciousness and social action.
